My books

Working across cultures requires
clear conversations

My books are full of practical tips to improve communication
with those who are different

Working with other cultures often comes with surprises: your counterparts communicate and negotiate according to their own rules, hence conversations have a different flow than expected. It doesn’t take long before unfounded accusations ‘fly over the table’, and together you get stuck in an unproductive pattern. It is not difficult to avoid these kind of situations. The misunderstandings do not originate in insufficient knowledge about each other’s culture. The difficulties find their origin in poor communication. How to make sure that communication with other cultures is effective and impactful?

What do you need to know about the business culture of the countries you deal with? Which negotiation tactics will you be confronted with in these regions? Frank Garten answers these and other essential questions in these practical books. Order the books through your online bookstore or contact me.
